Peel potatoes and cut into cubes.
Put potatoes into a big pot of salted water. Bring to the boil.
Let potatoes cook for 20 minutes until soft.
Drain potatoes. Keep hot.
Heat ½ cup of milk with some butter.
Add hot butter and milk to potato cubes.
Mash with a potato masher or a fork until smooth.
Taste and add salt and pepper if needed. Enjoy!
